Wow, are you me? Like are you me, from a parallel universe? This is almost scary, except I’m a little younger than you. The guy is also 17M and I teach him. I’m not going to tell you not to feel anything for him, but what I will tell you is that you don’t really know the guy. I didn’t. All you know is who he is based on his interactions with you during tutoring. He could be a friendly guy, and flirting is the way he shows that. He also isn’t even out of high school yet- and you have a decade of experience under your belt. He’s getting ready to experience the world and you’ve gotten a taste of that already. I would let him make the first move and NOT pursue. Otherwise, it looks like you were being inappropriate with him during tutoring and that’s NG. You can give him your phone # to stay in touch after you’re not in that professional relationship anymore, but that’s it. I wouldn’t have high hopes. |
